Senior Nationals update

Before I forget, Fordham Prep’s Andrew Lenzi, a Cortlandt Manor resident, is wrestling Anthony Volpe of New York in a 135-pound consolation semifinal later today in the Sophomore Nationals.

The Senior Nationals began today and here are the first-round results:

130 — Derek Reber (Penn.) dec. Dominick Oddo (Mahopac), 7-2

130 — Lawrence White (NC) dec. Mike Ahearn (Yorktown), 12-7

145 — David Rice (Edgemont) dec. Richie Dehnz (Fla.), 7-6

171 — Zeke Stambovsky (Nyack) pin. Montgomery Gochenaur (Va.), 4:43

    what are your presesson predictions for next year (2008-9)?

    I’ve heard that there are lots of off season injury’s from over training.

    Who will make it through the regular season?
