As you all know, The Tony Carlucci Memorial Tournament is Saturday at Port Chester, and we’re going to bring you the action like you’ve never seen it before.
Using an emerging technology called Mogulus, we’ll carry a live Web feed of the finals on LoHud.com. Visit “www.LoHud.com/vcsports4”:http://lohud.com/vcsports4 to watch live, or you can check it out later “on demand.”
Hope you enjoy!

Now everyone take back the bad things you said about the Journal News.
I’m bringing a huge banner that will say “Bring back Tony”! Anyone want to help me display it?
Don’t take this the wrong way, but, I would rather see it than read about it. Good move by lohud.
Still want Tony back.
If you can get BRUCE Banner, he could lift it all by himself
cya !1
is this something lohud is trying to do to make up for the loss of tony pinciaro?
thanks though.
Friday-Saturday
Kingston duel meet tournament
Section One Teams: Somers and North Rockland
Im in on the banner!
Rye Tournament on Saturday also
Hey Susie,
Good Try on the Suffern match report – It wasn’t at New Rochelle NEWSFLASH – it was at Suffern!!!
Bring Tony Back at least he knew where the matches were!!!!
Ms. Arth….you hope we all enjoy this live web feed? Most of us will be at the tournaments anyway. What we all ENJOY is Tony Pinciaro. That’s what we want, not a live feed.
Fox Lane Parent,
I’ll help you with the banner
tony would of had a list of all the teams going to the carlucci tournament and rye tournament by now.
yupyup ~
And he would have had his predictions…......... MS. Arth cannot predict something she knows nothing about…
you’re right…I looked forward to those predictions, the ones she can’t make
In separate e-mails I suggested to Susie and her boss that they work with the parents and coaches to find a way to keep Tony on the job for this season.I think they now understand that a large group of readers want Tony. Let’s keep this alive and come up with some ideas that will be helpful. Good luck with the banner. Great idea.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have from a reliable source (I grew up in a newspaper family, so I know what this means) that Susie Arth had nothing to do with this. The three cuts in the sports dept came from above her and she was not given the opportunity to challenge the decision. So let’s not string her up on this blog. We need to figure out how to get above her in this fight. I also understand from this reliable source that when Susie came on board, she increased the local sports coverage, understanding that people don’t buy the Journal News to read about the Yankees, Mets etc, but buy the paper for the local coverage.
Here’s the list of Senior Management at the Journal News
Send them ANOTHER Professional email, informing that they made a bad decision.
We’ll probably all get another form letter response, but at least it will be a response. We need to keep the heat on. One of these people had to make the decision…......
The President and publisher..Michael Fisch mfisch@lohud.com
The Editor is Harry Freeman hfreeman1@lohud.com
The senior managing editor is CynDee Royal croyle@lohud.com
thanks Fox Lane Parent
We had the same 10% cut at the newspaper I work at . My boss had nothing to do with who was cut,
and he hated every minutes of it also. Don’t blame Susi,
as she herself maybe was under consideration for the same fate as tony

Phil,
Where do you live? Are you a Fox Lane alum?

getting very sick the first practice due to severe
concussion received during last game.

I have sent another email to Mr Fisch noting the mistakes that Ms. Arth and her staff have made on the first night of the wrestling season. Noting the Suffern at New Rochelle.. when it was New Rochell at Suffern…. the difference between Tony’s writing and the writings of Mr. Ng. (simply cannot compare). Also stated to him all the coaches and parents that are upset. Hopefully, they will relieve another writer or find a way to bring Tony back to cover section one wrestling.. Lets keep up the pressure to bring Tony back…
any results from john jay vs carmel? Its only 2 of the top 5 teams in the section!
JJ Carmel was postponed due to the Carmel football award’s dinner…
Tony was very good and kept everyone up to date. I went to all the tournaments I could but I so enjoyed reading and replying to Takedowns with Tony. WHy is wrestling always the first to go. ? Just asking.
Any news on today’s tourneys ?
cya !1
did you expect any????
any idea what’s going on with the tournament? I thought it was going to be broadcast here with the ‘special saturday feature’—I’m seeing nada!!
No feed what the ?
It seems that gannet simply cant handle the fact that tony’s worth whatever there paying these other idiots to the wrestling community becuase hes a standard that were all used to not having to live with out. personally i missed his bald head at the table at the carlucci today. and wheres the coverage of ALL the matches. Not one mention of the port chester-ossining upset in the paper last thursday. Not something that would have happened under Tony’s watch.
BRING TONY BACK!
