JJ vs. Monroe-Woodbury

I know people were interested in this result, so I called up Bill Swertfager and got the box. He said Monroe-Woodbury is really tough, which is no surprise considering they dominated the Section 9 dual-meet tourney thoroughly.

Why does John Jay forfeit 103 and 112? Amazing that the best team in Section 1 doesn’t fill their team
Two reasons…1- injuries 2- District policy to not allow Middle School athletes to participate in HS sports.
I don’t like the rule of not letting middle school kids compete in high school sports, not sure if anyone is going to see this because this blog hasnt seen action since last year but if anyone does i hope this isn’t Dr.Rolle ( the guy who took the Indians from Ossining) dirty work. Yes there are plenty of kids who are playing high school sports who aren’t ready. there are plenty who are. Would you take away Brian Reabuto’s first two years? or Joe Mazzurco’s? Or Jesse Jantzen’s ?
