Championship Saturday in pictures

March

Vinnie DiGravio was minding his own business when Joey Grippi fell from the ceiling.

Steve Rodrigues gets his world turned upside down.

Stephen Dutton keeps Andrew Lenzi firmly on bottom.

The antelope is fast, but not fast enough to avoid the lion’s pounce.

Ever wonder what the bottom of Genta Murayama’s shoes look like?

Think Brian Realbuto’s happy about winning a state championship?

And finally, that sweet arm-raise of victory.

Jake, I know you were handed this thing late, but great job this year. Hopefully the empty suits over there in Harrison will keep you on the wrestling beat and give you more print space next year.
Looking at the Journal News one would think they got a percentage of the County Center gate this year. Wrestling deserves more RESPECT!!

  4. Cifuni Tourney

Jake: Great job this season. We hope to see you next year!
Now, its time to get these kids wrestling in the off-season.

This Sunday, March 8th, the Cifuni Tournament will be held at Clarkstown North High School. WALK-INS ARE NOW WELCOME!
